The AMC 8 (American Mathematics Competitions 8) is one of the most prestigious middle school math competitions in North America and is widely recognized around the world. Compared to general assessments, the AMC 8 is significantly more selective and challenging. Its question style closely mirrors the math sections found in entrance exams for Canada’s top private schools.

 

For students aiming to apply to elite institutions such as UCC, Crescent, St. Michael’s, St. George’s, TFS, and Collegiate, the AMC 8 offers an ideal preparation path. ✅ Break down typical application scenarios, including economics, concentration, and fun modeling problems, improving reading comprehension and modeling ability.
